Motridal manufactures belt conveyors for a
wide range of applications, with steel or Nylon-
Polyester carcass belt, with capacities up to
3.000 t/h. Thanks to the availability of belt
covers in antiwear, oil-proof or thermo-resistant
material, these equipment may be used in
several industrial fields (cement factories,
chemical, food industry.).
Every belt conveyor is designed in compliance
with the most advanced and up-to-date
international technical standards (CEMA, ISO)
and Motridal's engineering department can
provide, upon request, complete solutions,
including steel structures and transfer towers.
Motridal's machines are characterized by a
self-supporting chassis, made up of steel
commercial profiles, which requires a small
number of supporting legs, allowing an easy
mounting.
Depending on the different kind of application,
the carrying stations can be two-rollers or
three-rollers type, plane or concave. Impact
rollers, lined with rubber, are used in loading
and transfer points; for heavy-duty operations
an impact cradle with impact bars in anti-wear,
shock-absorber, low-friction material are used
in place of impact rollers. Return rollers are
lined with spaced rubber discs to prevent the
material build-up. Drive and tail heads are
supported by a reinforced steel structure and
the drive drum is lined with chevron-grooved
rubber, in order to increase the friction between
the belt and the pulley.
For belt conveyors up to 50 m centerline a
screw tensioning system is installed on the
tail unit, while a gravity take-up is used for
longer conveyors.
All accessories like
skirtboards and cleaning systems are
characterized by high functionality and
reliability level and have been designed and
developed by Motridal on the basis of its
experience in the field of bulk materials.
Motridal's conveyors are equipped with drive
unit and all required safety devices, like pull
rope emergency stop switch, speed
monitoring switch, sway detectors.

All belt conveyors are equipped with components and
accessories like skirtboards, covers, chutes and deck plates.
Over 50 years experience manufacturing belt conveyors
contributed to developing an exclusive belt cleaning system,
including primary cleaner with tensioner, secondary multiblade
cleaner and V-plow scraper.

SIDEWALL BELT CONVEYORS
Sidewall belt conveyors are used for
conveying bulk solid materials over high
inclinations (even along a vertical line)
with high capacity. This machine
represents a convenient alternative to a
series of conveyors (belt
conveyor/bucket elevator/belt conveyor)
because it uses only one drive unit and
eliminates transfer points, minimizing
dusting and material pollution.
DUST-TIGHT BELT CONVEYORS
Motridal produces totally enclosed belt conveyors, suitable
for conveying light and fluffy materials that may be windswept.
Covers are complete of dust-tight seals and hinged
and bolted hatches for easy inspection and maintenance.
These machines are usually equipped with Motridal's
cleaning chain which collects and recycles the material
spilled from the return strand of the conveyor.

Belt feeders are used for extracting material from hoppers.
These conveyors are characterized by highly wear-resistant
belts, impact idlers with a small pitch (or impact bars) and
low speed. Motridal's production includes a wide range of
special-purpose belt conveyors, like, for example, reversible
belt conveyors, mobile belt conveyors, conveyors with
movable heads, tripper cars etc.

Stackers are machines composed by different
types of belt conveyors: they are made of sidewall
belt conveyors, trippers, mobile belt conveyors
etc. All these machines are mounted on a
structure, which may be fixed or mobile, complete
of a swinging and lifting boom, which allows
stocking material on a wide area. Motridal
supplies complete systems expressly designed
to comply with every type of storage
requirements.
